Picaboo Yearbooks Releases HTML5 Yearbook Application

Redefining the future of yearbook creation and publishing

Picaboo Yearbooks announces the release of Creator Studio, the company’s new HTML5 yearbook application for the new school year. With this software release, Picaboo Yearbooks has embraced HTML5 to provide an end-to-end yearbook solution that leverages the standard in web and cloud based programming. As support for legacy technologies like Adobe Flash and other desktop platforms wane, and the innovation of web technologies grow, users of Creator Studio will benefit from continuous improvements to functionality and performance designed to enhance media creation and publishing in a cross-platform environment.

Creator Studio now has enhanced design tools and editing capabilities, exciting new layouts and stickers as well as a centralized dashboard for managing projects that improves the overall process of yearbook production. Users will now be able to simply drag and drop photos right from their desktop or mobile devices into the yearbook software and get the very best online experience for creating, designing, selling and ordering yearbooks. The process of yearbook creation, from production to selling is now easier than ever.

“We are thrilled with the release of this application,” says Bill Miles, CEO of Vidigami Inc. and former General Manager of Picaboo Yearbooks. “Creator Studio demonstrates how we’re leading the way in how yearbooks are being created.  No other yearbook solution can match the speed and ease-of-use we offer.  With the merger of Picaboo Yearbooks and Vidigami, we’re paving the way for how school memories will be captured, stored and shared.”

Creator Studio was released August 3, 2017 and is available immediately.  Throughout the year, users will see improvements to tagging, portrait management, collaboration, and personalization designed to enhance the yearbook production experience.
